Killswitch Engage/Shadows Fall @ The Opera House (Dec. 12th, 2012)

Whether I had a press pass and a camera in my hand, I was super excited to see two bands that I have loved since I was a teenager.  Killswitch Engage was celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their mega hit album "Alive Or Just Breathing" and decided to being Shadows Fall along for the tour.  No complaints there since I have seen both bands numerous times and enjoy every show.  The lights once again proved to be a little difficult and didn't blend the best (at times) with the focus of my camera.  Either way, there were a handful from each band that turned out nice so I can't complain.

Evergreen Brickworks

One random beautiful day in November I decided to take my a stroll down to the Evergreen Brickworks with my family who were visiting from out of town.  Going through the place is absolutely gorgeous, even in its rustic state.  I feel between the somewhat vibrant colours, rust, and lighting it made for a great shoot.

Machine Head & All That Remains @ The Sound Academy (Nov. 7th, 2013)

My first official press pass for my website.  I was soooo effin excited and nervous at the same time.  I had no idea what I was getting myself into and have never gone through any procedures on how to go about this.  Luckily the promoter was very nice and explained everything to me.  It was quite the fun little experience to walk up, take some shots for three songs then head to the bar for a beer and wait for the next band.  Now the real bummer about this shows was that I initially got the press pass for the headliner of the evening (Dethklok) but just as soon as they were about to go on, my battery died on the camera.  What are the odds?!

Slaves on Dope @ NXNE 2012 (June 14th, 2012)

One of the first Dundas Square concerts that was being promoted for NXNE 2012 with Bad Religion, No Use For A Name, Good Riddance and my personal favourite Slaves on Dope.  Been listening to these guys since their 2000 release "Inches from the Mainline" and was uber ecstatic to hear of their return to Toronto and promoting their new release "Over The Influence" (released February 28th, 2012).  So I hopped over to Dundas Square after work for a few snapshots and enjoying the sounds.
